I'm sorry if everyone have to see me posting something silly like this but Botenmaru-Masamune is such an adorable kid

So a lot of things came into the Kinos bookstore today and I nearly squealed in delight of my findings, although silently and of course texting like crazy to Mari about it.

Kinos apparently were able to get single book copies of Basara 1 and Basara 2 and the art is damn amazing on PAPER!
YES ON FUCKING PAPER!

While I do appreciate the free scans but I always like the book cause it's "On HAND"

Once I saw the books, guess what....SENGOKU BASARA: BATTLE HEROES ARTBOOK....just sitting there in a huge stock pile!
I ..... was lost in words. Oh god the nerd that I am.
I looked for the sample book if they had it and they did and I flipped through the entire book.

The new Dengeki Maoh just stated that a new Basara manga will come out on the SEPTEMBER ISSUE FOR A JULY RELEASE. (>_> don't ask....it's just is and I'm getting it.)

From what I gathered (and I can be wrong til I have Mari to translate this for me.....if she doesn't find me as a bother **finds some Chika images w/ Mouuri and/or Masamune porn for her as a fee**):
- Yukimura will be the one taking the spotlight so Masamune and Kojuuro MIGHT just be cameo characters
- sketches of Yukimura, Masamune & Kojuuro from the manga are released in the latest Dengeki Moah.

Ugh....another pain in the ass research.
I don't know what the show is about nor do I know if this is going to be a possible anime in the distant future. All I know from visuals (with zero knowledge of Japanese text and rather not use babel fish til I get home) I saw this anime ad on PASH! July issue, there was this really awesome outfit design of like post modern slash warring state of Date Masamune, Katakura Kojuuro and Date Shigezane (Masamune's cousin). So because of that, I decided to look for it under the pretense of the title name: "Inheritor of the Crescent Moon" which....did not pop up ANYWHERE in google. So I did another look from the magazine and found out the real title is: 戦国驍刃Dullahan -Inheritor of the Crescent Moon- and the company Ra-Sen. But Dullahan and Ra-sen was enough to bring up only 3 pages up when I googled it. Even than .... it wasn't suffice.

All I know is that
- possible mecha show
- Date Masamune is main character of the show, probably the protagonist.
- It was only shown at the Tokyo Anime Festival early this year of 2009 in March.

From left to right [in that order]: Shigezane (tan color hair), Kojuuro (dark brown hair), Masamune (greyish dark blue hair) and [unknown mecha] which maybe it's called DOKUGANRYU.

Sayaka Kato-sensei as in par, which I'm assuming, did the animation or maybe the character designs for -戦国驍刃Dullahan-, notable for Masamune, Kojuuro & Shigezane. There's a small tiny teaser pic on her web page:

Just saw some AMAZING images from July's Animedia and Animage issue.
OMG! MOURI AND CHIKA on the back of the poster and bloody poster of Nobunaga with Mitsuhide in the front poster and Mitsuhide is like.....drrruuuuunnnnkkkkk and bloody but druuuunnkkken happy w/ Oda. I recognize the artist, just dont' know the name.......it's from that artist who did promotional poster like from Getbackers, Trinity Blood and others. Pretty, shiney and a bit bloody. And that was from Animage.

Speaking of the latest Animage, it also had a more crisp lineart of the ENTIRE Sengoku Basara cast, sames goes for Animedia but they only did it for Mouuri and Chika (like 2-3 drawings). FFFFFFFFF I WANT THE OFFICIAL SENGOKU BASARA -anime- ARTBOOK BADLY NOW!!!! (pffft....watch me purchase the magazines and few weeks later, like say in July or mid August, it'll come out. Since this always happen to me. Either fandom loves me or just my money.)

Animedia had a poster of Masamune (who's posing w/ his six claws in the middle) and than Mouuri, Yukimura, Keiji & Chika (in that order) behind Masamune.....OMG KEIJI! YOU AND UR MANLY LASHES. Mouuri's hair is more frizzle out. Forgot about how Chika-hime looks like (hides from Mari for the lack of Chika-hime description)

Latest Cosmode got some INTERESTING wig styling technique and they tell you what kind of wig work for those gratify hair, gun props tutorials (why is all of a sudden they're sprouting gun blades all over Cosmode????) and Chinese and Japanese traditional patterns.

Yukimura.....he kinda appears and disappear in my eyesight for some reason in this episode.
Kasuga boobs seem to have gotten smaller.
Sasuke...really....just marry Kasuga already.

I'll be canceling the room by the end of this week (SUNDAY) this Thursday evening only because it's just me and Amanda and we both figure that 2 pple paying for the room is a bit too expensive and while commuting is a lot more better & FAR cheaper than staying and paying $273.70 for the entire weekend.

Plus, we both need to save money. Amanda have her AX trip and I have an oral surgery to take care of sometime in July.
But before I do cancel the room, I want to pass this along to anyone here on my FL who needs it before I post it up on both Cosplay.com and ANext Forum.

A rough and also loose translation have been done for Episode 10 ......for the most part.
I still need to translate the discussion between Nobunaga & Akechi and Sasuke, Masamune & Kojuuro had.

Okay  I have tons and tons of Basara shit I haven't uploaded on the net here (exclusive stuff found on my own LJ) and to the Basara's Community sengoku_basara  and put_yourguns_on , screen-write cap for ep 10 and damn it MOAR NEW STUFF that I got today!!!!

I'm so behind it's not even funny. I mean like the scans are done.......except for the new one I got today and it's something I'll announce for the Screen-write cap.

And I've been looking EVERYWHERE for the Battle Heroes art/guidebook in my 2 bookstores; Asahiya and Kinokuniya but I'm coming out empty. <_< I'll probably end up getting the book @ Yesasia or Play-asia.com
